Patriot Update - A Free Press for the Conservative Revolution

Patriot Depot had an excellent time last week at CPAC. We met tons of our fellow conservatives and shared our supplies for the Conservative Revolution with them. The one speech we did get to hear in person was Glenn Beck’s keynote address. Glenn is amazing to hear in person and he seems to have an unending supply of wonderful points. Among them, the most important one is that the GOP needs to repent of its big spending ways and return to true conservatism. In other words, Beck said that the GOP can only accomplish its goals by embracing the values of the TEA party movement.

We were very busy during the day—between manning our table, meetings, and chatting with fellow conservatives—and there wasn’t much time for anything else. We did get to go into town one evening and see some of the sights around the capital. My personal favorite was getting my picture taken in front of the White House wearing my “One Big Ass Mistake America” sweatshirt. Seeing all of the historical monuments with your own eyes gives you hope that our country can continue to be the icon for freedom that it has been since its founding.

It was refreshing to see that conservatives indeed are alive, well, and ready to continue the good fight. As liberals continue to spend obscene amounts of money and strive to force government health care this country, we can be sure that conservatives will continue to win elections, just as they have in several recently by big margins. Liberals still believe this is because they haven’t forced enough big government on America. This is great news for conservatives for upcoming elections, but it is also bad news as the fights will continue until we get true conservatives seated. Anything liberals get through this year will still be law and those laws can and will have generational effects.

I hope you will join conservative battles this year and know that you’re making a difference in America. The United States is on the verge of losing real freedom. Once a freedom is given up, it is nearly impossible to get back. Stay active, stay alert, and be ready. You may not think there is much you can do on your own, but together we will be a voice that will not be ignored—even by the liberal media! There will be plenty of TEA parties this year for you to attend. Lots of conservative candidates will need your help to win elections. And even friends and family that will need to be informed about the conservative side of the issues of the day. We are at war with liberalism. Fight the good fight and save our country. To Freedom!
