Tony Rips El Rushbo for Rooting for the Official Team of the Regime
Well now, see, the reason I ask you is very interesting. Not too many people have picked up on this is why I want to ask. Everybody's talking lockout as in the players being locked out by the owners. But the players on every team have voted, if necessary, to decertify the union. If that holds up, there won't be anybody to lock out. The owners won't be able to lock out anybody if they follow through and decertify. In other words, end the union then there's nobody to lock out. Therefore the only way there would be a work stoppage is indeed if the players strike. Now, is that what you meant or did you just mean lockout and got the terms reversed?

Media Uproar Over NFL Tripping
Those of you who don't follow football, you have to know something. Yesterday on the sidelines at the Jets/Dolphins game something very unsportsmanlike happened. It's happened before, I don't know in the NFL, but it's happened before, certainly in college. What happened was this. Nolan Carroll was running down to cover a punt for the Miami Dolphins and he runs out of bounds to escape a couple of blockers. He's the gunner. Runs out of bounds to escape a couple of blockers and he is tripped by the Jets' strength coach, a guy by the name of Sal Alosi.

Obama Cedes the Presidency, Clinton Takes Over for 45 Minutes
How about Obama ceding the presidency, not just the podium, but ceding the presidency to Bill Clinton for a half hour, or 45 minutes last Friday after this program is off the air. Man, oh, man, we've got sound bites of females in the White House press corps. Folks, it's as we always knew it. In fact, as I'm listening to them asking questions, the camera's not on them, I think they're taking their clothes off in front of Clinton while they're asking him questions and saying, "Please, can I be next?" What does Monica have that I don't have? What does she have that I didn't have? It's hilarious. And what's Obama's excuse? Michelle's waiting. He's got to go to a Christmas party. That's how I know the tax deal's going to get done this week, because Obama's vacation in Hawaii starts. As Michelle didn't want to be late to a Christmas party, I know damn well she's not going to want to be late getting to Hawaii.

New fast food banned in South L.A.
Goodbye cheeseburgers, hello nanny state! In South L.A. they have actually banned new fast food establishments from taking root. “This is not an attempt to control people as to what they can put into their mouths. This is an attempt to diversify their food options” said council member Jan Perry in a statement she clearly made before thinking. Not only is this move a slap in the face to every adult in South L.A. who feels capable of choosing their own meals, it's also going to hurt the local economy.

Glenn Beck reviews "The Voyage of the Dawn Treader"
Glenn reviews "The Voyage of the Dawn Treader"
The latest movie in the Narnia series, based on the bestselling books from C.S. Lewis, came in at #1 at the weekend box office. Of course, the media is trying to find a way to minimize the impact of the movie by claiming it earned less money than the first two did in the series on their opening weekend. That's true - but not by much, and considering we are in the middle of the 'great recession' that's not too shabby.

CNN attacks Glenn Beck
Fareed Zakaria apparently thinks it's a good idea to take Glenn on, even when the facts are not 100% in his favor. In fact, they are 0% in his favor. So while one can admire the courage it took to jump in the ring and start taking swings at Glenn - it's an ill advised strategy. Stu had already laid out the ironclad case to back up Glenn's (off handed) claim that 10% of Muslims are terrorists - and had no trouble absolutely destroying Fareed's lame point.

Sources Say Steele Will Seek Second Term As RNC Chair
Controversial Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele, who last month presided over the GOP's biggest electoral gains since 1938, will announce tonight that he is running for re-election, Fox News has learned from two RNC members.
Ending weeks of rumors that he would not seek a second term, Steele plans to throw his hat into the ring during a conference call with RNC members at 7:30 p.m. ET, the sources said. Steele is said to be amused by false reports of his retirement and intentionally kept his plans secret for the last month in order to flush out competitors for the post, Fox has learned.
During Steele's tenure, Republicans picked up 63 House seats in last month's elections, the biggest gain in more than seven decades. But Steele has been dogged by criticism from some Republicans who see him as prone to missteps.
Criticism of Steele has helped lead to a crowded field of challengers seeking to head the RNC.

Federal Judge Rules Against Mandatory Insurance Coverage Clause of New Health Care Law
Casting an unmistakable and perhaps permanent pockmark on the face of the Obama administration, a federal judge in Virginia ruled Monday that a major component of the new health care reform law is unconstitutional. Judge Henry E. Hudson ruled Monday for the state's claim that the requirement for people to purchase health care exceeds the power of Congress under the Constitution's Commerce Clause. Hudson's eagerly awaited decision invalidates the requirement that all Americans purchase health insurance by 2014 or face a federal fine. Hudson's decision is the first striking down part of the controversial legislation.

Tales of the Bizarre: Obama Bails on Press Conference
Since Barack Obama became president, we have witnessed what happens when someone is elected to a job but is clearly not ready for that job. I'm not simply talking about a man who crumbles when his teleprompter goes on the fritz. It's so much more than that. Obama has bashed his own country in an effort to gain favor with other nations. That didn't work. He rammed through left-wing policies without building (or at least trying to build) a consensus. November gave us an indication of how well that went over. And now, the journey of Barack Obama is complete... completely clueless, that is. On Friday, Obama not only brought in former President Bill Clinton to explain the new tax deal, but then he left his own press conference! I guess he felt he was turning things over to the one person who knew what was going on.
