Who says the government can't run an auto company? Look at this genius: the all new Chevy Volt - travels 40 miles on electricity. It can be yours for the very low price of just $41,000 dollars. Oh, and there's a tax rebate if you buy it. Why not just make a car that people will buy at the asking price? They'll figure it out someday…maybe.
